Stone Project

As a part of my scenic painting class, this was the second large project we were assigned. I chose my reference image, color-matched, and painted for this project. The key aspects of this project were non-linear scumbling (blending) of the base colors and blending the colors organically. I also used additional sponging, highlights/shadows, and "graining" to get the same textures as my reference image.
Any discrepancy in reference image color to the final painting is due to printing the image.
