Marble Project

As a part of my scenic painting class, this was the third project we were assigned. I chose my reference image, color-matched, and painted for this project. The key aspects of this project were non-linear scumbling (blending) of the base colors and blending the colors organically. I enjoyed the spattering and loose, organic process of painting in the grains.
Any discrepancy in reference image color to the final painting is due to printing the image.
